Os cyclones are used for the separation of solid fractions from air. They can be used individually or as a pre-separation before the filter unit. The efficiency of the cyclone separator depends on the size and weight of the particles and can be regulated in the pipes by valve.
The cyclone directs air flow thanks to its cylindrical shape. Due to the centrifugal effect and inertia, solid particles are separated from the air. The separated powder falls spontaneously at the bottom of the cyclone, directed through a rotating lock into a big bag or silo.
