1. Cleaning and Peeling

Almond Cleaners/Peelers with dust extraction and ventilation are equipment for small productions, prepared for exceptional cleaning that removes impurities and other small particles before the ventilation action.

Subsequently, the ventilation system is able to remove leaves and branches, close to 100% effective, even when there is a large intake of this waste.

After undergoing pre-cleaning and air cyclone, the almond passes through the sieve, where the remains of medium or large branches are removed. The almond with the green peel goes to the peeler, which completes the machine's work by removing the peel and leaving the almond perfectly peeled.

Also optionally, the equipment can work with different types of conveyor belts to remove almonds and waste, depending on the installation requirements.

The entire system is equipped with mobile and/or removable protectors that facilitate and make its use and maintenance safe.

2. housekeeping

The cleaner has a standard pre-cleaning device, which incorporates a rolling screen at the inlet that removes small solid waste before the ventilation action. In this way, we achieve a cleaner environment at the facility.

Subsequently, the ventilation system is able to remove leaves and branches in a more homogeneous way, already achieving 100% efficiency, even when there is a large intake of this waste.

The cleaner can optionally incorporate the roller screening device, which will eliminate the rest of the branches that may have remained and that, due to their weight or size, were not dragged through the air.

Also optionally, the equipment can work with different types of conveyor belts to remove almonds and waste, depending on the installation requirements.

The entire system is equipped with mobile and/or removable protectors that facilitate and make its use and maintenance safe.

3. Almond Extraction

The roller table is the first device where almond and impurities are discharged after the pre-cleaning/cleaning process. This device consists of a helical roller table, whose function is to let the almond pass between the rolls, separating it from almost any waste larger than the almond and that may have remained after cleaning.

The helical shape of the rollers and the movement of the rollers allows the waste it removes, such as sticks and stones, etc. to be moved forward and sideways, facilitating their expulsion.

4. Almond Peel

The 12 t/h double almond peelers are dual equipment designed to work in parallel or independently, achieving productions of up to 6 t/h or up to 12 t/h, depending on whether we work with one body or with both at the same time. The main function is to remove the green peel from the almond.

The Peelers have a small built-in receiving hopper for receiving the almond, which makes it ideal to enter the inlet mouths, maintaining exactly the same flow for both. Due to a double dispenser, we can work with a single machine body. From the outside we can check the flow of the cylinders, since they are supplied with a transparent cap that allows us to check at all times.

To evacuate the waste, a small conveyor belt is installed, which is expelled from one end, while the almond leaves at the opposite end.

The entire system is equipped with mobile and/or removable protectors that facilitate and make its use and maintenance safe.

5. Stone Separation

The strippers are designed for integration into cleaning sets, to carry out the final process of removing stones and other heavy debris that may remain after prior cleaning of the almond.

These sets are an essential part of the pre-cleaning and cleaning lines for almonds obtained from the harvest of the tree or soil. The predators are preceded by two devices that previously remove branches and small debris, allowing their effectiveness to be 100%. These elements are, on the one hand, the waste extraction table, for removing branches, and, on the other, the eccentric sieves, for the disposal of small solid waste, among other accessories and auxiliary equipment, such as conveyor mats, small hoppers, etc.

6. Dryer

Once washed, the nuts must be dried before being stored. Thanks to their extraordinary capacity, in no more than 48 hours, the nuts will have released most of the moisture they contain and will be ready to be sold.

Our dryer is necessarily adapted to your drying needs, as the capacity can be easily increased by adding modules.

With capacities from 3 m3 to 25 m3/each dryer.

7. Peeling of the hard shell and sorting

Hard shell peeling and separation lines, compotes by elevator for reception, calibration, peeling and separation.

Line capacity: 130 kg/h, 260 kg/h and 1200 kg/h.
