MAROT Model C calibrators classify grains depending on their width or thickness. The accuracy of the classification process is achieved by rotating the drum whose angle and speed can be changed.
The choice of model is based on the number of separations, products, or qualities required, as well as the desired capacity.
The first criterion determines the number of sections/screens (3 to 5) and the second the diameter of the cylinder (630 to 1610 mm). When many separations are required (for example for coffee and cocoa), classification is obtained through a combination of modular devices in series or in parallel.
