The cleaners or traditionally known as Cereal cleaning drums MAROT Model EAC removes light, in addition to separating good quality grains from fragments and garbage. These operations are performed by a double suction system followed by a rotating drum. The raw grain sample is leveled in a uniform layer through which air is sucked in. The proportion of light raised by the air flow is adjusted by adjusting the suction power. The heaviest particles are drawn out of the air flow and deposited at the bottom of the suction chamber, where they are extracted through a worm. Lighter are extracted by the fan.
If it is only necessary to use suction, the product may have a direct outlet. After vacuuming, the product is inserted into the rotating drum, with interchangeable screens suitable for any specific product. The first sieve removes broken grains, sand, etc., and the following ones allow the final product to pass through. Very large particles are retained at the end.
The wide variety of sieve combinations provides great flexibility for use in any type of grain with a capacity of 5 to 400 t/h. When used as a calibrator, the final sample is released and the small seeds pass through the sieves.
